BAFTAs

My wife and I ended up watching a bit of the Orange BAFTAs last night on BBCAmerica and I was struck by just how well-run the entire affair was. It came in on-time, each of the acceptance speeches was short and to the point, there was very little politicking, and, of course, Return of the King ended up winning Best Picture, which covers a multitude of sins, IMNSHO.
Now, if only the Oscars will follow suit on all counts.
