The first UT2k4 reviews are in, with IGN and GameSpy being the first to weigh in. It scores a 5/5 stars on GS and a 9.4/10 over on IGN.
Both reviews are fairly comprehensive in their coverage, yet both focus a great deal of their space to the new Onslaught mode. From the time I’ve spent playing the demo, I can easily see that this will likely be the common thread uniting almost all of the reviews to come. Onslaught is just packed with strategy and demands good teamwork in order to win. Plus, it’s darn fun to play.
I look forward to seeing you (and, to those getting the DVD special edition w/USB headset, hearing you) online next week. It’s gonna be fun.

So I got the pre-order in on J&R and as I have not been online gaming in a while I am
training with the original UT BABY!! I just hope I can figure out what settings I want
for sensitivity and key config. Looking forward to joining the land of the technologically
advanced again….see you in a few!
