I came across an interesting summary of the state of things in the blogosphere, at least in relation to the tools used by bloggers.

Executive summary:
Blogger holds the current lead with ~30% of bloggers using its tools, whileLive Journal trailing it by a bit.

Good old WordPress (the system that I use) is down around 4%, which is a little disappointing, but usage of WP seems to be picking up.

Interesting stuff.
