That Shaun of the Dead clip got me thinking about upcoming movies and so I took a virtual stroll over to Apple’s movie trailer site. Posted for your enjoyment are a few of the upcoming movies that may well be worth seeing:
- Hero. This movie will absolutely rock. I managed to see a bit of it off of a Hong Kong DVD that one of my coworkers brought back from an excursion to China Town and it looks incredible. The highly stylized action sequences put even Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon to shame. A must see.
- Batman Begins. I’m withholding judgement on this one, but at least it won’t suck as badly as Batman and Robin. I mean, George Clooney – what were they thinking? Central casting must have been smoking some serious stuff.
- Blade Trinity. Looks interesting. I liked the first, hated the second. Could be a cool end-of-the-year action flick.
- Zatoichi. Okay, so this one is already out, but I’ve heard only good things about it. A blind samurai that whups up on people? I’m in!
