I just got off the phone with Senator Santorum’s D.C. office. It took me quite a while to get through (I’m assuming that this means the call volume is rather high) but when I finally got through, I told the (very polite) staffer that I was a Commonwealth resident who wants the Senator to oppose Arlen Specter’s Judiciary chairmanship in any way that he can. The staffer took my name and address and assured me that he would “forward my concerns on to the Senator”.
For everyone else with home-state GOP Senators, please begin calling their offices immediately, asking for the same thing. Perhaps we can “bork” Specter (oh, the irony!).
