Slashdot carries notice of the BBC’s review of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which they sum up in one sentence: “… somewhere in the production process the crew has lost sight of the fundamental aspect of the books – they were immensely funny.”
I’m going to reserve judgement until after I see it, but reviews like that give me no great hope.
