It looks like Scott Kurtz was also bothered a bit by the Sesame Street “Cookie Monster” idiocy:

While I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment, it appears as if some of Kurtz’s readers have taken umbrage with the sentiments expressed.

Meh. In my humble opinion, in this case, Kurtz == right, readers == wrong.
