Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!

I’m always left to wonder if anyone, anyone pays attention to SciFi movies as “cautionary tales”. For instance, while Tetra Vaal is cool in concept, in practice such a system practically reeks of Terminator 2.

Yes, let’s put weapons into the hands of super-strong, fully autonomous robots. That’s a great idea.

    Good point. If I’m going to create a machine, I want to know exactly how it will react in any situation.

    That’s an amazing piece of animation, though the robot’s design is strikingly similar to some of the mecha in Appleseed. As for giving weapons to autonomous machines, well the day that happens all us meat-bags are doomed. :D
