Laser Light Shows Are For Pansies
Real men don't do laser light Floyd shows. They use a Tesla coil to play the Tetris theme song and the Super Mario Brothers' "underground theme":
A Bountiful Link-Filled Catch-Up
I am fully cognizant of my delinquent blogging — apologies all around. I've been in full recovery mode since taking the redeye from SFO to PHL on Friday night. Short observations on that flight? Sucked like a brand-new Dyson 07 with the full pet hair kit. Stupid US Airways.

Cosmic Justice + Schadenfreude = Cosmifreude? Schadestice? Freudecosmischadenjust?
It's generally poor form to revel in others' distress (see: Hilton, Paris vis returns to jail), but I must admit to a small amount of glee upon hearing the news that O.J. It's odd interacting with the Mac geekery, being the old Linux/UNIX head that I am. After attending the "Stump the Experts" session last [...]
Looks Like We'll Never Need Another Timmy
I read with a good deal of sadness that Mr. Wizard died yesterday morning. For all of you youngsters, he was like Beakman or Bill Nye, oldschool-style.
His experiments were decidedly a low-fi sort of affair, but they were entertaining and engaging. I'm sure he's responsible for just as many engineers as [...]
