This weekend is our end-of-year “maintenance window”, wherein I and three other sysops all hack ourselves bleary-eyed through a virtual forest of unpatched Mac and Windows machines out on the engineering floor.
I’m currently in my 11th hour today and looking forward to more “fun” tomorrow. Hoooray! Three cheers for Microsoft, who makes it nigh-impossible to centrally manage a large number of desktops! Huzzzah!
