A few quick words, if I may.
- Bubba Ho-Tep rocked. Saw it at the Angelika in Dallas with my Father and Brother-in-law. Will definitely be looking forward to the DVD.
- The Vikes suck. Losing to the Cardinals to get bounced from the playoffs? I can’t even explain the disappointment.
- Sunday’s Pearls Before Swine was extremely rare (for a mainstream comic) in that it actually showed compassion for Israel. It made one mistake, however: it used the passive voice when describing the buses as having “blown up”. I guess the author couldn’t have slipped a mention of the Palestinians in without someone blowing a gasket.
- Today’s is a wonderful skewering of the Peace-at-any-pricers out there.
