Spot The Error In This Statement

As a duly trained Computer Engineer, I took many an Electrical Engineering course, so I immediately spotted the flaw in this so-called “expert”s statement:

“In one volt of lightning you can get up to 30 million volts of current going through, which would pretty much devastate your house when you think that an outlet only has 110 volts,” Weik added.

Yowsa. I’d have a hard time kicking anyone running that line out of my house, as I’d be laughing my head off.
H/T Fark.

UPDATE:
Bah. Nevermind. Looks like the article’s author goofed. The record has been stricken.
