We held the fantasy draft for the second league I’m a member of this evening. This draft ended up being quite a bit shorter than my last one – we hummed through the picks at a rapid rate. Below are my picks this time out, in order of their selection:
- Donovan McNabb, QB – PHL.
- Stephen Jackson, RB – STL.
- Nate Burleson, WR – MIN.
- Ahman Green, RB – GB.
- Laverneus Coles, WR – NYJ.
- Jason Witten, TE – DAL.
- Mewelde Moore, RB – MIN.
- Michael Vick, QB – ATL.
- Muhsihn Muhammad, WR – CHI.
- Adam Vinatieri, K – NE.
- Najeh Davenport, RB – GB.
- Travis Taylor, WR – MIN.
- Atlanta Defense – D, ATL.
- Matt Jones, WR – JAC.
- Peerless Price, WR – DAL.
- Wayne Chrebet, WR – NYJ.
Once again, I think I came out of the draft in a relatively good position. My last draft was hampered by three running backs that were hurt within two days of my selecting them, so that stunk. I went a lot heavier on the wideouts this time, as we can play three WRs per game in this league (as opposed to two in the other league).
We’ll see how my picks pan out, Thursday through Sunday of this week.
