Berendt then went on to say: “We Democrats refuse to be cowed by the Bush Administration. We’re not a bunch of sheep here, you know? We won’t chicken out, and that’s no bull.”
A Washington state Republican spokesman, reached for comment, was quoted as saying: “Sounds like Mr. Berendt has livestock on the brain. And I thought it was Hillary Clinton that had troubles with cattle futures.”
