I’ve been getting some questions as to the ultimate disposition of my car, (plus I promised more info and never delivered) so here goes with the latest info:
It’s quite beneficial to be hit by the owners of an auto scrap yard, as they can source replacement parts quickly. The owners of the establishment in question have agreed to get the car fixed up at a body shop they know and trust and the work should be done soon, so I’ll have use of my car back in a jiffy, or so I’m hoping.
