Late last week, I received bothmy Up From Zero DVD from the Labor dept. and my order of magnetic Bush-Cheney bumper stickers. I haven’t had a chance to watch the DVD yet, but it’s a commemoration of the Ground Zero workers and the sacrifices that they made in the days following Sept. 11.
As to the bumper stickers, they work great! They’re the same size as a regular bumper sticker, but made of the thin magnetic plastic material that you might find used in refrigerator magnets. It sticks very firmly to the trunk of my Taurus (stupid fiberglass bumpers…). It’s such a great idea, I don’t know why all campaigns don’t make it standard practice.

Yes, this means the Taurus is repaired. The guys at the auto scrap yard took good care of us – it looks great.
