Proof that there is Justice in this world:
No sequel to any Adam Sandler movie has ever been made, although a very good case could be made that every Sandler movie is, in effect, a sequel to the previous one (excepting Punch Drunk Love, of course).
Proof that there is NO Justice in this world:
Jim Carrey ceased making Ace Ventura movies in order to fill our skulls with nonsense like The Truman Show and The Majestic. If I want to see a once-great comedic actor relegating himself to mediocre drama parts, I’ll catch the latest Robin Williams movie, thank you very much.
Musings On Life, Meaning and The Way Of Things
I love Sandler’s movie. Well, apart from the Punch Drunk Love.
I’m not saying that I see anything particularly wrong with a Sandler movie, per se. It’s just that they’re all pretty much the same thing, excepting Punch Drunk Love and The Wedding Singer (which, by the way, qualifies as an excellent movie, IMNSHO…).
