While I was, and remain, a staunch fan of Weird Al’s collected body of masterworks, saying he saved my life might be a bit of an overstatement.
I would go so far as to say that he informed my sense of humor and has allowed me to better appreciate pop music as a whole.
Also, UHF is a work of sheer genius. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not to be trusted.
This Might Be Overstating The Case A Bit
Every now and then I remember I want to watch UHF again. Then, before I can watch it, I totally forget. I guess I must be drunk when I want to watch it. Or at work. either way I’m in a depleted mental state.
