I’m not an Episcopal, but if I were, I’m pretty sure I’d be out-and-out offended by the first-ever Clown Eucharist.
The scary thing is that they don’t appear to be joking. Actually, I’d almost prefer that they were doing so, as then they would at least be presenting an honest front and copping to the fact that they’re making a mockery of the Lord’s Supper.
