After speaking with my wife for a bit, I realized that my post from yesterday probably needed a bit of clarification.
I haven’t actually felt that God is telling me to run for office. I’ve had a desire for public office for a few years now and I was struck by the confluence of events over the past two days. It has made me look at the prospect of running in a different light.
In other words, don’t look for any “Stewart for Congress” signs any time soon.

Uh uh, you’re not getting me anywhere near Jar Jar. I’d probably be thrown in jail for strangling a constituent.
