Mandatory Corporate “Diversity” Training

Here’s my question: if “diversity” training is mandatory, then doesn’t that put us in a paradoxical situation? If we really, truly, and completely are comitted to being “diverse”, then shouldn’t some people be excluded from the training in order to maintain “diversity” of views? Kind of pricing ourselves right out of the “diverse” marketplace, eh wot?
Unless such training isn’t really about “diversity” in the first place, but rather is about insulating a hulking trans-national corporation from all manner of potential lawsuits…
Then again, I’ve always been the cynical type.
