Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 pieces of white bread
  • 1 pat of salted butter

  2. Using juice glass, punch circular holes in the center of the slices of bread. Eat “bread cores” or set aside.
  3. Place cored bread flat in the bottom of the pan.
  4. Crack eggs, placing each into separate pieces of bread.
  5. Allow eggs to reach desired consistency, then flip once. Repeat cooking on other side.
  6. Dish up on to plates, season with salt and pepper and enjoy.

  1. some swiss cheese, and a fresh slice of tomato, between toasted wheat bread…mmm, scrumptious. I’m also looking forward to trying Doug’s eggs-in-toast recipe The combination of yesterday’s cooking with some cleaning and healthy dose of homework helped for me to get to sleep early.

  2. Sweet. Wish I could claim credit for it – it’s an old camp recipe that I’ve had good success with.
