RedHat officially released RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.0 today. This marks the first time that the 2.6 Linux kernel will be appearing in RHEL, as well as Evolution 2.0, GNOME 2.8 and a whole host of other upgrades, all of which are exciting.
This also marks the fifth time I’ll be updating desktop software around the office until the cows come home, which is decidedly not exciting.
*sigh*
The newly-released RedHat “magazine” has more details on the update.
