The team responsible for WordPress (the blogging software I use) just released their newest version (1.5) named “Strayhorn”. You can grab it from the download area of the main WP site.
I’ve been fooling around with a test blog running an earlier version of 1.5 and it’s absolutely great, at least from an administrative/blogger standpoint. I’ll be upgrading this blog to 1.5 as soon as I can massage my theme into shape.
More later.

So how do you use this software, do you need a server or what? i am happy with Blogger but cannot get graphics incorporated into the header or anything and was thinking about getting somethign that I can create a graphic like you have.
Yup, you need a server to host it.
There are hosting companies that you can get deals with for fairly cheap – I’m paying around $6/month for my hosting plan (a fairly cheap hobby if you ask me, but then again Blogger is free!).
I betcha if push came to shove, nobrainer or I could host your image and you could just reference it in your html.
I just stumbled across this this morning, but if you’re looking for free (like Blogger) WordPress-based blog hosting, then check out BlogThing. It might be right up your alley, Brad.
