I’m at a bit of an impasse here — my Google Fu has failed me and I’m not sure where to turn. In Waiting For Guffman, Corky St. Clair [Christopher Guest] delivers the following lines:
[A]nd it’s a challenge that I am going to… accept. It’s like in the olden days, in the… days of France, when men would slap each other with their gloves… say, y’know…”D’Artagnan!”… y’know, “how dare you talk to me like that, you!,” and… smack ’em!
I’ve been scouring the Internet[s] for a sound clip featuring that dialog and have been stymied at every turn. So I beg of you, dear reader: please point me to a source of said sound effect or, even better, if you are in posession of Waiting For Guffman provide me with a raw drop from your very own DVD copy.
Or else face a vicious sssmacking.
