For Those Of You Sending Me Google Talk Invites

…I’m not ignoring your pleas to talk to me. It’s just that Google Talk happens to run on TCP ports that our firewalls and proxies at work just don’t like. I’ll accept your invites when I get home.
For those of you without GMail/Google Talk accounts, please don’t hesiate to contact me and ask for an invite – I’ve got 50 sitting around unused.
For those of you unsure of what Google Talk is, just hit the link above. In a nutshell, it’s an Instant Messenger/Voice-Over-IP chat program produced by (obviously) Google. It’s slick and looks to give AOL’s IM a run for its money. Oh, and it’s 100% free.

  1. Same for me. I too have 50 Gmail invitations to give out and nobody is asking me.
