As A Way Of Explaining My Lack Of Weekend Posts

…I offer the following:

Saturday was beautiful, weather-wise. I spent most of it flat on my back, as it had decided to give out sometime between Friday evening and Saturday morning. My wife and I capped the day off by going to see Revenge of the Sith with Aron and Heather. All three disliked it, with my wife going as far as to say that she enjoyed Episode II better. Heresy!
Sunday – beautiful weather again. We spent the morning in church and the afternoon and evening at my parents’ house, where I finally got a chance to meet my sister’s boyfriend. I’m not entirely convinced as to the merits of his case, but my brothers and father seemed to get along just great with him, which is good. He also tended to look at her adoringly, which is good. (I’m a bit overprotective – so sue me!)
Monday was Catch Up On Lost Day™ – my wife and I finally sat down and watched the season finale. I, for one, don’t know what all the “Betrayal!” fanbase hubbub is about. It seems to me as if the writers have a definite plan and just really, really wanted to drop more than a few cliffhangers in order to keep viewers interested and psyched to get back into the swing of things come September. My take, anyway.

As excuses go, I know they’re pretty poor, but darn if I didn’t enjoy the heck out of the weekend.
