Via Slashdot, I saw a story about Richard Stallman convincing Cuba to adopt Linux. Linux companies and Linux advocates have been struggling against a reputation as mere software Communism – good thing Open Source Software’s strongest “advocate” (RMS) has gone and proved the case to be, well, true.
Gah.

Communist or no why should any government including the US trust the products of a company unless that trust has been earned or ensured. The statement from Cuban tech department is laughable (as many are from these countries). The assertion that Microsoft cooperates with any one, let alone the US government, is preposterous.
